Point 35 Microstructures (http://www.pt35.com/), the established leading supplier of refurbished semiconductor wafer processing equipment and proprietary MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) wafer processing equipment, is pleased to announce that it has completed a major support contract from Freescale Semiconductor.
Freescale Semiconductor recently placed contracts with Point 35 Microstructures for the supply and qualification of Lam Research and Applied Materials wafer processing equipment. Both contracts required Point 35 to construct and test equipment at its Livingston manufacturing facility, and then install and qualify to Freescale's production specifications and strict Environmental, Health &Safety requirements. Both projects were completed ahead of schedule and are fully operational.
