A contract to develop process, supply and commission Lam Research etch tools was placed by Philips Semiconductors with Point 35 Microstructures and recently successfully completed. In a letter to Point 35, Philips management recognized and praised the technical capability and professional management which was demonstrated by Point 35. A full refurbishment and final test process was completed, followed by on-site commissioning. “We are very grateful to Philips for the opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities and our commitment to customer service,” said Tony McKie, Sales Director at Point 35. “Our customer base continues to realise high value from the full range of process and service capabilities which we offer across a wide range of systems, and our independent position as a strong alternative to OEM's”
