In an open testimonial letter,management at Atmel's North Tyneside fab recently acknowledged the key role which Point 35 played in helping them achieve their capacity ramp.
Mr John Dalziel, Equipment Engineering Manager, said " Atmel North Tyneside contracted Point 35 Microstructures to assist in the capacity ramp of it's wafer fabrication area. This production ramp utilised both new and previously owned equipment, Point 35 provided a competitive solution to the installation and process start up of a range of these previously owned tools. These included a range of Applied Materials Endura, Centura and Producer platforms as well as Lam Research Alliance. The project was completed succesfully and we would certainly consider using Point 35 Microstructures for similar projects in the future"
